  1. I was on vacation recently in New Hampshire and stopped by a militia shop. Although the store owner not deal in Ancient coins a group came in over the counter and he took a flyer and paid $2500 for the group. We had sold our collections many years ago and paid $5000.00 for the group. From what we could see some of the Sestertius looked pretty as did some other coins so we were comfortable that the value was there even though we purchased the group for the fun of it. Two coin club medallions in the group show that the coins were likely assembled in the early 1960s; Here are some of the more interesting coins This I believe, is a nice example of Septimus Severus Does anyone know what this one is? Rather Grusome Reverese! I think this is a Phillip II tetradrachma Does anyone know the identity of this coin? More later
