I have older gold coins from america and newer from canada and china. when I submit them for grading, can i do them all on one form or does it have to be split it to american and world?
-
I think I have seen these graded in their original cases, but I wanted to make sure I dont send these in and they get rejected because they are in the case.

Colored or painted new coins
Roy Winters replied to Mel_in_PNW's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
I love the colored/painted coins. I have a couple of maple leafs that are totally colored over. I am not sure if they will grade or not, but when there are only 500 of them out there, if they ever do get a grade, hopefully they will be appreciated someday. I also added a titanium coin. I guess i am in the Minority lol. -
hello everyone. I have seen a lot of cleaned details grades but never a stained details. this coin was rated UNC STAINED so I am going to assume that is a pretty good grade being UNC but beside a nice collection piece, I am assuming no way to sell it or get any sort of value? Any help would be appreciated.

ASE Newbie Question
Roy Winters replied to LDH Coins & Memorabilia's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
so how do you get the ultra cameo or deep cameo designation. when grading at NGC, do you have to pick something on the submit forms? do you have to go to a highter tier? how do you get them? -

So I have 6 older coins and 1 first release coin. I am assuming i need a different forms for the old coins and then another form for the first release coin. do i need to package them separately or do they need their own box? I am going to assume i can ship both orders in one big box, but do i have to package the 2 orders separately or can i put them all in one box and just put in both forms into the larger box
-
I have an order that has about 6 older coins. I am also sending in a new 2023 american eagle for first release status. I believe i have to fill out a separate form for the first release coin, can i send both order in one box with the two submission forms or do they need to have their own box and be shipped separately

i was thinking that, sucks but i wanted to at least see if there was an avenue open

Is This a 1916 D/S Lincoln Wheat Cent?

I can see where you would think this tho. it does look like the top of the S. very interesting tho. -
hello everyone, I wanted to reach out so someone would clarify first day of issue designations. so I have a subscription to the us mint and I receive coins in the mail that were sent to me the day they were issued. I think I saw on this site that you have to send them to NGC within 10 days of release. Since i didnt know that, can i include the invoice from the mint or something like that to still get my designation? for example. The mint release the new American Eagle 2023 One Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin on May 25th. Mine was shipped that day. of course it is way over the 10 days, is there no way to get that designation on that coin?
-
thanks Sandon, I get that. I do have the 2023 version but i will get the 24. thanks to everyone for your responses

Good morning! i have a quick question... again lol. So I know the difference between Mint State and Proof. the exception i have is the silver Eisenhower dollar. When i go to the pricing guides. I see the 1973-s Silver Ike dollar in the MS and PR designation. so my question is, when I have a coin like this, there are both 1973-S, what makes the grading PR vs MS and vice versa. There is a huge difference in the value so I am not sure, since it is an S, how it gets an MS grade?
