  1. Hi everyone, I came across this penny, it is a 1944 wheat. On the obverse to the left of where LIBERTY is, there is an anomoly. I do not know what to make of it. I looked at the edges and do not see any metal pushed up on the sides. RTY is visable, although it is recessed. It is mostly intact and I don't see scraping.
  2. Hi Everyone, This is my second posting and would love to hear your thoughts on this. I opened a new uncirculated roll of 2022 Lincoln Pennies and came across this. On the other pennies in the roll I can clearly see JFM, but on this one, it seems to be a little out of sorts. I took pictures from different angles to see if this would help.
  3. Hi RWB...I was trying to read up on error-ref.com site about rolling induced fissures errors that can happen with a planchet. I thought it might fall into that kind of category. Thank you all for your imput. I'll keep on looking and learning.
  4. Hi everyone, I cam across this 2007 Lincoln Penny. Just to the right of Lincolns nose looks like something happened. There looks to ba a partial stamp of something starting from 1:00 position tp 3:00 position. Thoughts?
  5. Hello Fellow Coin Collectors I have been reading about the minting process and how errors can occur on a coin. I am not sure what to make of this. It is a 1971 S Lincoln Penny with a cut, looks like it's toosmall for a regular cutter to make, I see striations inside the cut instead of a flat cut. The interesting thing is the edge and the way the metal is shaped. Thoughts?
