  1. The seller was stonetool. The story is kinda interesting. I was searching for an 1855 Large Cent, the knob on ear variety. So I typed in 1855 into the search bar in the Large Cent category. A pretty long list came up, so I started checking all of them out. I was putting a conservative bid on everthing that looked good to me thinking I would still have to be very lucky to win. Well, I won the bid on one of them, but was disappointed to find out that it wasn't the knob on ear variety. I guess I was going a little too fast and didn't notice. Since I already had a better 1855 slant 5's, and feeling that I had bid too much for this one, I contacted the seller to see if he could help me out by offering the coin to the second place bidder, then I would pay him the difference between our bids. He responded that I could send him $6 to cover the ebay cost, and "do not bid on any of my future auctions". I thought that was a little harsh considering the fact that I was simply asking if he could do this for me, not demanding it. I told him I would go ahead and get the item paid and that I was sorry for causing him stress. I guess after thinking about it awhile, he decided that he had over-reacted and he included this Morgan, and another VF 1853 Cent as "bonus" coins in the shipment. I am overwhelmed, and very impressed with this seller. He is one of the few "GOOD GUYS" left. Thanks again, stonetool. I owe you one (or two). :luhv:
