Hello,
While going though some old bags of coins I found this interesting 1976 Roosevelt dime. It has raised portions on both sides of it (Obverse - Blob Near Nose/Mouth area, Reverse - LARGE "C" shape on right side and smaller raised section across from it.)
I have no idea how this damage/error could have happened. It seems like the coin has more material than a typical dime.
Is this some error or just damage?
How did this happen, whether it be an error or just damage?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
