  1. I understand. I am easy with it.
  2. With Greenstang's helpful advice I was able to correct the topic typo. Apologies again.
  3. I bid at storage locker auctions. Sometimes there are coins in them, among other collectibles. This forum has helped me sort out which ones are real and which are fakes.
  4. I took this pic using the suggestions of a member (JPM). Outside in natural light, white background, about six inches above the coin, elbow resting on something to steady the phone. Is it better than all of the previous ones?
  5. Thank you all for your expertise! This certainly points me in the right direction. I need more education in this area.
  6. What? You wrote that book?! Awesome! And thanks JPM for the pointers on taking pics1. I am going try that on my very next pic/post.
  7. Thank you for your help. I don't have any of the plastic flip holders yet; but I ordered some from Amazon. I am not a coin collector. Just a guy who stumbled into some coins. I am going to research that NGC VarietyPlus page you refer to.
  8. Thanks a bunch! Got a few more of these. But the only one I think is worth anything is a 1934, which I didn't post. I got some static about posting too many pics so I won't do that one. But your response has helped me greatly. Thanks again.
  9. OK, EagleRKO, I got ya. You're right. I won't post anymore pics after these last ones.
  10. Hey Sandon! Using your pic and guidance, I think I found a real.Morgan CC. It's not 1889, but 1884. And it really does look genuine to me. Plus, I think I just figured out how to sharply focus my pics! Check these out.
  11. Got some Peace dollars. These pics are best I can do. Are there experts on Peace dollars here, too? If so, what do you think? Fake, or not?
  12. Thank you, Sandon. I see what you mean, and agree with you!
  13. Got a whole bag of them. There must be some good coins in here somewhere. I think I will start posting the Peace dollars next. Thanks everone for your help and feedback.
  14. I just recently learned how to crop my pics so as to get them down to a size that will upload. Any pointers on how to get them more focused would be appreciated. I have quite a few more coins to upload. Also, I agree that buying already graded coins makes good sense. I have done that, too. But I don't have any questions about them.
  15. Thought I would post pics of a few more Morgans to get opinions on.
