Once again, the OP needs to submit these coins to NGC asap and come back to this thread and post photos of the returned coins in the slabs.
That may take years to happen. His current walk through of his $2,000,000.00 USD one cent coin is taking forever and ever…………………

All of those look like business buffalo coins. Not even close to being a proof. How long you been dealing with coins? Just asking, no disrespect in any way.
No. They are exactly like the coins that you posted photos of. Large square rims all. All of them are excessively rare and valuable. The gold buffalo I posted is the ultra rare transitional solid gold version. It is so rare that it is not mentioned in any literature anywhere and the experts on this forum have never even heard of it. Now that is rare.

Ok well show me at least one photo and any business coin that looks at least somewhat similarly to this coin. Don’t think you’ll ever find it because it doesn’t exist except for the Proofs.
You should use the $2,000,000 USD that you realized from the sale of your one cent coin to get a book published. You have more numismatic knowledge than all of the people who participate in the forums combined and also more knowledge than the major TPG services currently in operation. Your not sharing your remarkable knowledge is a crime to the hobby.

Please post the results of your submission. You may help to save someone money in the future by doing so.
-
Why did you ask if you already know the answer?
-
It is unlikely that a lesson will be learned here. Supreme knowledge supersedes fact in this case. Blame will be put upon NGC for not having the knowledge to recognize the true nature of this coin. Too bad NGC was kind enough to accept the much lower fee. They could have taken the extra money and thrown a party for the NGC members at the next big coin show they attended.
-
What would the fees be for a coin with an estimated value of 1,700,000.00 declared on submission form?

Are you shooting for the Foo of the Week award? You're mounting a strong campaign. He's been collecting for at least twenty years. He was probably collecting when you were loading up your diapers.

No misunderstanding. I was being a smartass.

Congratulations on the $165,000.00 USD that you realized on the sale of your coin. Well worth the cost of the attribution.

Wow it has the crack and the chip. I have been looking for one for 60 years. Nice find. Congrats. It is odd you joined NGC seven years ago and you only have one post.

To ignore the request for an opinion, or to make them try to "find out on your own", imho would be doing a huge disservice to the hobby. If someone is totally new, they aren't going to even know where to begin to look. And I haven't tried it, but I am sure a Google search will also be mixed with tons of bogus information as well (even directing them to YouTube coin *vomit*).
Then you are believing the person with no knowledge is going to go to the appropriate website and get good information (probably not). Do you see how damaging that is? Once they have done their incorrect research they become another one of those that @Sandon has mentioned that thinks "we" are wrong. It is because they are already misinformed before they ever come here to ask for an opinion.
We all only have so long on this earth, and I believe it is up to those with proper knowledge to spread that knowledge while they can. I think the hobby is for the betterment if despite how many times we may tire of having to repeat ourselves that we properly and correctly educate those who seek truthful knowledge. I don't think in the end it matters if our opine/advice/guidance is disregarded. I think it matters to pass it along, and remember it is possible for those who reject proper knowledge, that years in the future may eventually get themselves on a better path, come back and read their post and possibly even admit they were in err. Even if they do not, we still should be helpful.
Nowhere did I say to ignore a question. Simply give them guidance with the websites provided throughout this forum to lead them into an understanding of what could have been a possible cause for the issue that they are asking about. It is a massive disservice to the hobby to just answer a question and be done with the uninformed person rather than help them develop an interest in the hobby by beginning to learn about aspects of the hobby and the processes involved with minting coins. Bringing them into the hobby by giving guidance is much more likely to happen than just throwing an answer at them as the walk out of the door never to be seen again.

Exactly why this should be done. A few minutes of online research will begin the building of their knowledge base either by learning the processes involved or finding existing threads covering the same issues. The reference websites needed to answer most questions are listed throughout the forums.
-
Simply stop answering questions until each OP gives a detailed explanation of how the "error" or "variety" could have occurred during the minting process. Post another pinned post that will not be read requiring this be done before a question is answered and stick to the policy.

He is not a new member. Read his other threads.

You are off track from the main point of the post, This is about identifying differences in coins, not treating human nervous and mental damage, try taking medicine 1 once a day 3 times, hopefully it will heal
Incorrect. That went out the window after your first post..................................................................................

Judging by your posts on the forum, you lack the mental capabilities needed to understand the above post.

Seriously, the best course for the op to take here is to find an extremely wealthy coin collector who is currently being held in the most heavily guarded section of his local insane asylum and sell all of his amazing coins to that guy. He will walk out of that asylum a very wealthy man.

Tried to align photos as usual but system keeps putting them in a jumble this time???
