It seems to me that if they only grade monster boxes owned by dealers NGC is ignoring the individual collector who may have such a coin.

The 2020 American eagle silver bullion coins minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark) are being certified by both NGC and PCGS. They have been given a special category called emergency production, early releases. I have two of these. Can I submit mine and receive the early release, emergency production designation on the label.
Here's the link for others to read.

I was reviewing my registry items and noticed that some items are missing images from time to time. I also noticed that some items have no value amount listed.

Hi will make the change. Thank you

Here’s the coin description NGC gave me. 1982 D LG DT BRONZE 1C. So are they saying it’s a copper cent?
-
So bronze is actually copper. Why not just say copper?
-
New to NGC, new to collecting. Had a coin graded it was verified to be bronze. How is this different than copper?

The 1982 D coin I submitted has not been graded and has the word residue. What does that mean?

Which is more valuable? Small date/large date?

This probably one of the most asked questions on any Forum. Everyone is looking for the extremely rare 1982 copper Small Date D cent of which there are only 2 or 3 known to exist.
The following photo may help you in distinguishing between the two.
There are 3 basic differences in the date.
1- The top of the 8 on the Small Date is smaller than the bottom. (Looks like a snowman) On a Large Date it is closer to the same size.
2- The two on a Small Date has a slight curve near the bottom. On a Large Date it is straight.
3- This is what I go by for an instant recognition of the differences without having to look to closely. On a Small Date, the 2 is farther from the rim than on a Large Date.
Which is more valuable? Small date/large date?

Does Ngc consider corrosion as damage?

When should I have my coin restored or conserved? If I request conservation or restoration and don't need it will I still be charged?

Do proof nickels qualify as full steps designation

I’ve looked at many many 1982 D pennies the date sizes all look the same. Hard to distinguish between large and small. Weighed each of the ones I have some are 2g some are 3g.

What makes the 1982 no mint mark 1C coin so valuable?

I am new to NGC . I have had bad luck with them due to the lack of know how when it comes to filling out the submission form properly. I sent my first coin a 1959 D a first year memorial issue thinking it would come back with that designation on the label. I was wrong. I am afraid to send my coins that may be varieties like the 1960 small date or the 1960 large date because it will not be designated as such on the label. I am afraid to send my possible mint error coins because they to will not be designated as such on the label. Likewise with any that may have doubling or any other peculiar things. Other examples are the 1982 large date, the 1982 small date. Other first year of issue like my 2020 American Eagle dollars.
