  1. I'm seeing different things every time I look at it, like staring at changing clouds. Show a different picture of the obverse Greg, if you would, a slight angle, maybe edit the color or lighting a little. It's an interesting little find you have there. Every year my cheeks, chin, and neck seem to get thinner. Yep, that's an old man neck, he needs to hold his chin up a little higher and that chicken neck will go away.
  2. Look it up on this NGC website opening page, Resources, then tab on NGC Coin Explorer, then type in the coin you want, 1944 cent, etc....If it's real, it's real, if it's fake, it's fake. Good luck peter al, and keep on searching........
  3. I'm taking it off my want list. I'll still want it, but it would screw my budget up and I wouldn't be able to buy the other coins I'm watching at the moment.
  4. What ever you do, don't clean it, or get fingerprints on it, just in case. Take care.
  5. I thought it looked like an overly strong 1753 V coin the very second I saw it, so, in my opinion, it's not a 1943S. Real nice find, I wish I had one, especially one that is absolutely beautifully toned like yours. You should get it graded Jonescoins, it might get 'Specimen' graded, and that means it could be worth $183,500 or so. Research it and see if you can find another coin like it so you can compare yours to it.
  6. Is ‘55 doubled die in this bad of shape worth the cost of grading?
