  1. Die polishing lines throughout. Teardrop of the four. Satin finish.
  2. Look at how different the rim is compared with that of a business strike.
  3. Squared off wire rim. Absolutely no bevel only the rim.
  4. Look at the lower left edge of the coin. It displays the truncated triangle pattern characteristic of upset rims in larger denominations.
  5. The rim is squared off toward the apex but steeply beveled in toward the upper side as it declines toward the coin
  6. The article also references an experimental upset rim. Look at the top of the rim on the Ike dollar.
  7. Notice the light grey dark grey and blue Hughes at the top of the planchet
  8. I’ll quote the article: “ the greenish chocolate brown (color) sacs are the experimental rinse”
