  1. Welcome to the Forum When selling, please follow the Coin Marketplace Guidlines in your listing. Hard to sell when you don’t even list a price. You have to list things such as price, form of payment, delivery etc. in your posting.
  2. Can't be a lamination issue, those quarters are clad, just damage.
  3. If you look at those listings, there was only one bid for each of them. One was the first bid on eBay for someone. It is hard to say if these were shill bids or from someone who did not know what they were doing. A seller can ask whatever he wants up to $2500.00 for a raw coin and hope that someone takes the bait. If you look at the other more realistic listings, you will see that they go for around $2-3.00 uncirculated unless it is a Cheerios or wounded Eagle. If these were on Etsy, they would ask $10,000.
  4. I agree with plating bubble In the future, please crop and show photo of full coin.
  5. Welcome to the Forum The 1944 has just taken a well placed hit giving it that appearance. Don't see any Doubling on the 1919. (A Doubled Die is a variety, not an error.)
  6. It is PMD. You can’t have a weak strike on only one side. Looks like it has been ground down on one side. Note the missing rims.
  7. Welcome eto the Forum Your correct, that is a die chip. These are not uncommon as they can occur on any die. Looks like other parts of the die was breaking as well. In the war years they used the dies as long as possible.
  8. Your not giving us much information to go on, you don’t even specify the date. we need a clear picture of both sides and an explanation of exactly what your asking in able to help you. Also please crop your photos to make the image larger.
  9. Welcome to the Forum. Most certainly not worth getting graded. That is a plating bubble that adds no value to the coin. It would cost you about $50.00 to have a coin worth 1 cent certified.
  10. Please post a larger single photo of each side. We have to be able to see the details on the coin before being able to help you
  11. Looks like a clip to me. Mr.Bill, please do away with that red background. Off white or grey is preferred.
  12. No extra value. They didn’t look like that when they were struck. PMD
  13. You can’t have DD on that mm as it was hand punched. It has just taken a hit flattening the letter.
  14. Give Franklins head a little rub and you should be able to see some of the nickel beneath it.
  15. Welcome to the forum That is known as BIE cent caused by a Die Chip. Not uncommon on any Lincoln cent but still a keeper.
  16. Pictures of both sides along with weight and diameter might help in determining what you have.
  17. Welcome to the forum There are thousands of different colour plated cents out there. They were a marketing gimmick years ago.
  18. Welcome to the Forum What you have is a counterfeit so it is ungradeable.
  19. Welcome to the Forum. Not off enough to warrant any premium. It is worth bullion value only.
  20. PMD A rim that was struck in collar cannot be that damaged during the striking of a coin. The rest is just damage.
  21. I have asked a moderator to move this to the proper Forum. As far as your Wheat cent goes, could you supply a complete photo of the Obverse and Reverse. Hard to tell when only a partial photo is supplied but my guess right now is that it may be acid etched which would reduce the weight. Complete photos would help in determining the cause.
  22. Welcome to the Forum First, coins are not printed, banknotes are printed. Coins are struck or stamped. Yes, it looks like someone has tried to cut it, PMD.
  23. Woods beat me to it but he is correct, that is the standard reverse. Only worth 1 cent in that condition.
  24. “450$ but says is gone give 215” That in itself should raise a red flag.
