    Thanks for the new pictures.

Looks to me like the copper is falling off of a zinc coated steel cent. At one time you could send your 43 steel cent in to a company that would copper plate it for you      (I think it was $2.00). This is possibly one of those that the copper plating is starting to fall off of. This is the only reasonable explanation I can think of.

Thank you Greenstang I appreciate your input

  2. Not sure what's going on here with the 1943 Lincoln Cent I had 3 of the 4 however as I was sitting here going through1of my mason jars& I came across this 1943 that appears to be copper but laminated with this steel colored which has began to deteriorate exposing a beautiful copper 1943 which has left me clueless because I've seen alot of steel 43s but never one as the one I found tonight so if someone whom has experience regarding what has left me clueless I would definitely appreciate the information

Yes it would be difficult to do so. that is a very old holder, the exact style probably having been discontinued almost 50 years ago.  Hard to locate 50 year old holders, most of them were discarded decades ago.  The coins on the other hand are readily available.

Thanks Conder101! I appreciate Your positive input and information on this topic! I know I can be argumentative especially when someone cannot support their claim! That was my reasoning in making the statement to coinsandmedals about the funniest part of it being literally no trouble at all to build the exact same set with including exactly same holder! If you recall back when I first asked about my set I posted the patent number on the ball snap case holder researched it  for countless hours which revealed Ms.Eva is a relative of whom the patent number belongs to not that it means anything but it was very interesting to me! So when mr.coinsandmedals made that statement of being literally no trouble all I could do was shake my head and as far as diagnostics for the Kennedy there has been one attributed without the small metal tear drop below the 4 I also did a side by side comparison of the Lincoln that HA has on its site along with the others and see no difference between the ones I own and the ones they display! Since nobody has been able to produce none other than the same ebay I believe it is time to send my set in!

While you're waiting, perhaps a writing class or two could do you some good.

Typical! When you run your head but cannot produce or even explain what I asked earlier is very puzzling to me damn maybe try Bing or some other site they may have one of the so common set and exact case maybe even a different reference picture than the one yall all produced 🤣I dont need a writing class this is not a grammar forum and if I did there's technology that could assist me so Mr.Dream Crusher I see your all mouth I don't know how long you have been into numismatics but for one to be so sure of there knowledge in the hobby I would expect that you would be able to help not belittle anyways again thanks for your input I know I may seem not to listen however growing up with parents  practice law and have a firm does make me very argumentative especially when someone can make a statement about something being so common but fail to support it!🤔

I agree this guy is beyond help. Where do these people come from? The funniest part about it is that it would literally be no trouble at all to build one of these sets in the exact same holder with the 1885 O Morgan dollar. We literally had dozens of these exact same holders (some with 1885 O Morgans) laying around when silver last skyrocketed. I should see if we still have the empty holders. Maybe he would like to add some more to his “unique” collection.

The funniest part about it is literally it must be some trouble to build one of these sets with the same exact holder???hmmm haven't seen anyone including yourself whom made the statement No Trouble Same Exact Holder😂 instead all of you keep finding that same picture which is uniquely odd indeed! How is it all of you make these statements and provide the exact same picture as one another how's that happening for such a common item? If common the availability should be endless right??🤔 not all of you finding the one and not to mention the same Ebay photo as you all have?🤔 Will someone anyone please give me an explanation for that??

I appreciate why you just give up and tell these people to get them graded, but I can't do that due to my conscience. I'd much rather crush their dreams here for free than let a grading firm charge them for the service of crushing their dreams.

There are well-known diagnostics for the SMS 1964 Kennedy Half and this OP's piece exhibits NONE OF THEM, full stop.

Crushing dreams huh! Well, well, well sorry to burst the arrogant bubble that contains you I haven't had a dream since I was a kid and believe me it sure wasn't about having rare coins although it is funny that you mentioned it I was daydreaming just before opening this forum daydreaming about what I said the other night just knowing as soon as I opened up my notifications I would definitely see some other pictures or information other than what you and everyone else has produced than guess what? I woke up ! However thank you for your input on my coins your in title to voice your own opinion and I appreciate it!

  7. Nothing compared to mine! That's old and the only one anyone has ever been able to pull up during research so your right coinsandmetals posting the same story with the same picture as others is not going to change the fact that what I have is special and is nothing like you or the many before you which have only been able to produce the same exact picture every time to try and compare it with mine! Clearly and obviously is not comparable colors nor lettering in fact nothing about the only& same picture everyone pulls up is! Nothing special than someone please produce another picture besides the one you all only find! So if what I have is not Anything Special than why is it all of you cannot find a different reference than the only one you all have? Why is it out of 30 people trying to find a comparison all 30 produced the same exact picture with that being said you may not but I find that very odd! Nothing Special than surely there is more than just the same one everyone keeps posting over and over again! Right I'll wait patiently! Thanks

Okay @Mason254, now you're just embarrassing yourself. I'm through with you. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RUNNING ACROSS AN ULTRA RARITY JUST LYING AMONG OTHER PIECES. All you have here is a normal MS64-ish 1964 Kennedy Half. If I had a dime for every time some new collector talked himself into believing they have found some ultra-rarity, I'd be a dime specialist. Just look at the comments below that Coinweek article. EVERYBODY thinks they have one, and no one there actually does, and you @Mason254, have joined their ranks. Do you even KNOW what having a "sharp square rim" is? The one in your picture doesn't have it. This is why I say STOP IT! You're into YouTube misinformation territory here, pal. Your last three threads are about a small letter Flying Eagle that was NOT one, a "Cud Error" that was NOT one, and now this. Strike three, you're out!

We've got another dude with a 1966 dryer coin that's worth gazillions in HIS mind, and another who thinks he's got a 1958 silver nickel. All these guys are simply delusional.

VKurtB running across an ultra rarity lying amongst other pieces I've had these for over 20 year recieved after my grandfather's passing whom live in NY. My grandmother told me that he has had them since the mid to late 90's after requiring them unknown to her the source so dont sit and think you know it and seen it all an have the nerve to say derogatory comments to someone in which you nothing about I do not appreciate that at all I am not delusional nor like any other  Mr.C.MKuykendall does not hope or wish anything! I just clearly have been having this complete set for 2 decades and barely beginning to read and research this particular set and I'll put 50 grand up just as other you will not be able to find nor explain to me the source of which these coins and the container which holds them originated from case has patented number as well if that helps just enlarge photo to find it Good Luck!! SO SMS YES I DO BELIEVE UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE! I MEAN WHOM WOULD HAVE JUST ASSEMBLED A SET AS THIS HAD NOT IT BEEN SPECIAL! WHEN YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER PLEASE LET ME KNOW EVEN IF ITS JUST THE CASE I'LL BUY IT..I'LL BE WAITING........

  9. O please yes they are! They have not all been attributed my o'my so ngc pcgs, coin week, stack and many others whom have all  recently wrote articles pertaining to this stating otherwise so by what you just stated it is all false and fabricated information? Please! Not a chance I believe that nonsense your saying this will be sent in for attribution take the time sometime look around on pcgs coin facts the coin I have is the same as all 3 shown there however thanks for your input!
