I just got my order from the Mint, 400th Mayflower Anniversary gold coins and it’s tearing me up that I can’t look at them because they have to be unopened for NGC to grade them with their certificate numbers. Have to get the order form filled out and get them in the mail tomorrow and hope for a speedy return. No pics

I was adding a coin to my Silver Eagle Registry set and noticed I now have two empty slots for 2018. One for the 2018 ANA Show and the other for the 2018 Fun Show. Don’t you think it’s a little unfair to create slots like that two years after an event like that? The populations for these type releases are low anyways but two years later really increases the difficulty of finding said coin. I checked on eBay just to start, there are some ANA’s but the Fun Show, nothing, nada, zip.

I bought this 2022S Silver Eagle (2022 Chicago ANA Release) because NGC added it to the required coins for one of the ASE Registry Sets I have been working to complete for about the last five years. The slot for this coin existed on Wednesday February 8th and I received the coin in the mail on the 9th. When I went to enter the coins information I found the slot had been removed and a slot for a burnished 2022 from the ANA Chicago show appeared. Well $200. Dollars later I’m in no hurry to try and fill anymore slots. Just may forget about this all together.
