Hey, Lee, it looks like Ms Liberty got into a fight with that shiner she has!
You should see the other gal. A very definative marker for this one.

The type two trimes are way tough, Lee, do you have a type set of all of them?
Tom,
This coin will be going to PCGS for a cross. I'm going to use it in my 1857 Mint Set w/Gold Registry Set. It took me forever to find an example I like that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I like your idea though.

Well, completely ignore my coin
Sorry, no disrespect intended on my part. Just a little too worn for my tastes. We all have different likes and dislikes which makes this hobby so unique.

Nice coin Tom! You too Mike! Got lucky tonight. Picked up these two. Care to guess the grades if you will. I've been searching forever for a nice 1857 3CS that didn't cost an arm and a leg. These babies are tough to find.

Very nice scores Lee and RGT!!!
Here are a few "younger" coins.

I was pretty excited that this one arrived today. I hate to post any coin after a simply amazing coin has just been posted. But I'm going to "Man Up" and post it anyway.
This one was on eBay and the seller's pic wasn't all that hot. I did notice some "color" though and thought it was worth a shot. Price guide has it at $350 but I got it for 1/3 that price. Not sure if its technically a 67 but, on this day, PCGS thought it was.

Hi Lee – Can you tell us anything about the Omaha Bank Hoard (other than it contained some well preserved Lincoln 1c)?
IGWT I sent this question to "Ask an Expert" at Heritage. This is the reply I received today:
"The Omaha Bank Hoard came from a collector who obtained rolls of coins directly from a Omaha bank over the course of several decades. Heritage was fortunate enough to purchase the entire hoard."

These two Lincolns arrived today:
I agree with Victor on how nice that "w/Rays" quarter is!
