1909-S....well laaaa tee daaa....somebody's rolling in the dough
lol lol lol
I wish I figure the longer I wait, the higher prices will go. So bite the bullet. Not bad for a 64RD.
That's exactly what I thought....well not exactly but you get the idea.
Lee, I am very impressed! Those are both some incredible coins! You have an amazing Lincoln cent collection.
Only 14 months plus change until "L" Day [2009]. You're making a wise investment. (thumbs u
Thanks Victor. My set is the highest rated with lowest % of RD coins so Lee's Colorful Lincolns is ringing true so far. Looking forward to 2009 so I can purchase two of every type minted. One for long term hold and one to sell when the time is right.

Nice coins shown by all since my last post!
Picked up these two at the PO today:

Great coins shown by one and all. This arrived today from Superior Long Beach:
The obverse presents as mostly red, the reverse exhibits about a 50-50 mix of golden-red and tan-brown colorations in a slightly mottled fashion on the reverse. Well defined including the often-weak mintmark which is especially sharp. Full lines are reported in the ears of wheat, and only the most minor softness is on the motto at the top of the reverse. Nice coin Elbesaar! This is a new addition for my Classic Commem Set. Some history on the issue:
The Bay Bridge is the only coin dedicated solely to recognition of an engineering triumph. It marks the opening of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge in November of that year.

Nice additions folks!!! This one arrived today. I was the previous owner and had the opportunity to repurchase the coin. Was NGC 63 BN and crossed to PCGS 62 BN. Super color both obverse and reverse and may be in a RB holder one day.

Nice coins guy's. I agree with Tom on the value of these in the lower grades. If you find the right examples, you've done well. This ones an AU55:
