1877-S Trade Dollar (PCGS XF40). I bought this raw coin off eBay last month and got the grade back last week. I've been looking for an attractive, colorful, and cheap Trade Dollar for about 3 years (for my colorfully toned U.S. Type Set) and finally found one that I like. Some very light hairlines on the upper left obverse, but not harsh enough to prevent a problem free grade.
I like this coin

Love the 55 ddo

I like the anacs coin. What holder is it in?
It's in one of the newer holders. I doubt either PCGS or NGC would give it a 66. For $7 I can't complain, it has the color I love.
Why is it I see so many 56's with color?

Thanks Bobby,

Cant wait to post them.

Simply gorgeous SLQ in a no-line fatty holder that somehow survived all this time without a scratch.
Very nice. This is another series that makes me want to be rich. Love the design. Unfortunatley I just had to sell my toned example.

Lots of cool material being posted. I am ready to play, but a recent accident has me sidelined for a few weeks so I cant get my newps properly imaged.
I would have my wife ship them, but that would just stir a lot of attention.
POST SOME RAINBOW COPPER FOR ME!!!!

Mike,
Did you know if you place a Sonic Care toothbrush to the side of that very nice 1919 Lincoln it will rotate in the holder and you can orient it right?
Lance.
No I did not know. I don't have a Sonic, but maybe my wife has something?

Oh, I wish it were mine. This may be the prettiest 1909-S VDB I've ever seen.
My absolute favorite color on wheats.
Very lucky owner.

I am no indian expert but wasn't the cn notorious for incomplete strike?
Either way I am a fan of strong strikes and I like this one.
