Those are nice Lance, and all are extremely hard to get stickered, 23 and 25 dated cents are almost as hard to find a good strike as is a 22. You have some nice pieces,
-
These 2 just received a CAC sticker today. NGC MS67RD 1939 and NGC MS67RD 1945 D Lincoln Wheat Ear small cent
Very nice if you are interested I have a 39 s ngc ms 67RD that has not been to CAC that I want to trade or sell.
-
It was Secure Plus graded like this in 2010.
The strike is actually quite good as is the die state for a mid-20s Denver coin. I always though the tiny pin scratch in front of the nose and ear caused the 63 grade.
Lance.
That maybe true also but look really close at the beard. One other thing is CAC has been tough on every 26 I have sent in regardless of the mint it took 4 26s s before one passed and I have not been able to get a d or a plain pass yet.
-
I think the weak strike on the cheek and beard is why the 63 grade.
-
Looks red and brown to me but very nice, I think I am more partial to rb than I am to most reds. Probably turned after grade
-
Thanks to you also hg you have a couple I would not mind having myself
-
Wheat, you need to post a link to your registry. I know you have some amazing coins in there!
Hate to say this but I don't have a clue how to do that. Computer is not my first language. It is number 11 in sets 1909-1958.
and thanks

here is one of mine
-
And now for something completely different.........
Very interesting token
-
Chris, here is my new 28 s. Finding one stickered and high enough grade has been a difficult problem to over come A lot tougher than people realize
-
I think the 23-S may have received the RD designation and the 13, I'm on the fence which means they most likely gave it an RB.
If the 23 is a 64 red that would be very nice. The 13 I think is a rb judging by your photo. Has either one been to JA?
-
I like both lance how about the grades just for the heck of it. I would say a 64 rb and a 65 rb
-
How about this one
-
-
yep I like it
nice

Think they will cross at 68?
LOCK! haha, no not even close, it was however actually very entertaining to look thru that whole group. Of the three I did buy the 56 is quite decent and I would grade it as MS65, the other two more like 63/64. The 40-D is nicely toned with target bullseye toning on it, if you like that sort of thing. I figured I'll use them to stick into the new capital coin board.
you know our discussions about toned lincolns

Think they will cross at 68?

Finally got one of these stickered is not the best in the world but it is nice shows a lot of red in hand. if not for the spots it would be a red
-
Some really, really, nice Lincoln's coinbuf!!
(thumbs u
Thanks Lee, it helps that Mark took the photos as my camera skills leave much to be desired. Here is another from the most recent group I sent to Mark. An unfortunate group of spots or old fingerprint on the obv but nice otherwise.
Chris here is mine 66 rb CAC. One day I wish we could sit down and compare our sets
-
I suppose this can go in this thread also...
Is that the same Lovett of confederate cent fame?
-
here is mine, not sure if I have posted this one before
-
Chris, that one is quite nice has it been up the road. There is just something about a 14 s
-
This one probably should be a RB designation.
looks mighty nice but you are right it should be red and brown
-
That is a nice one has it been to CAC yet?

Lance here are a couple I sent in and they did not pass the 1926 may have not passed due to the shoulder it is a PCGS 67 rd. The 1926d is a 64 red the photo does not show it well in hand it is a definite red. I think the spot on the rev. stopped this one. They are on my replacement list
