Man, Bobby, you aren't paying very close attention today are you.
Chad, Tom offered me the coin on layaway.
Tom is a great seller and that is a great coin!
-
Nice Zach, but enlighten me, what's the denomination? Is it an Early Half?
Looks like a QTR to me.
-
Here are the images... The 74 slab is kinda scratched and makes the coin look a bit bad... Anyhow....

At least if you are doing a proof clad Washington quarter set you do not have to purchase the 1965-1967 issues since no proof pieces were made in those years. By the way, I agree that these look cool in DCAM.
Tom I plan to try and fill up the NGC slots, which do include the SMS coins....

Great looking coin Bruce. I'd call that one a mini- (thumbs u
Moose... Maybe not... Only got 3 points for that one.

Auctually this coin was worked into a deal I got on ebay. I am going to sell the other coin thus making this one FREE.

To be honest I am starting a new quarter set.
1965 - 1998 Proofs. 69 Dacm is the target grade since most are affordable. The earlier ones where that is a monster will be adjusted to fit in. I find the cameos to be pleasing. (Yep I collect some moderns as well) Here is the first coin in the set. PCGS PR 69 DCam

I like that merc Bruce!!! Nice pics too!!
Bobby that is the one I told you about over the phone.
-
Nice color, what do you suppose made the toning so symetrical on the reverse?
As I have been told this coin came from a "hoard" of coins that were stored in a "save a dime" holder from the 30's and 40's. Basically it would be like a board you put dimes in. Looks like someone put a roll of 1945 S Mercs in there.
