Here's a couple of newps I picked up recently. A 1913-S I call Mr, Frosty and another ms-66 type 1 with a wart looking thing on Iron Tails chin. I think this is a first generation NGC holder....Joe

Nice coin but the holder is a 3rd or 4 generation NGC holder. The first gen is the NGC black insert, then come the all white lable with the gold embossing on the white insert and then on the outside so this is no earlier than a 3 (thumbs u

Thanks for that information, it's appreciated. Got any pics? Thanks ...Joe

This has got to be the ugliest women on a coin, if you have an uglier one I would like to see it! Is this what women looked like in San Francisco 1869? I guess there wasn't any pretty girls around back then lol.... Anyways I bought this piece a while back and just got it graded, according to the census there's only one P/L graded higher and it's a ms 64 P/L. This is a pretty cool piece and I just thought I would show it off a bit. Thanks for any comments.....Joe

  3. I'm not a Franklin guy, but I take a stab at the grade. The planchet is quite clean, especally the obverse, the toning is nice, eye appealing, the coin looks well struck, but I don't think it's full bell lines, but that could just be the lighting. All told I will guess MS-66 if the luster is full. Great looking coin, that part I'm sure of....

  4. Absolutely gorgeous T-1, Joe. Are you leaving any out there for the rest of us????? I'd love to see all your buffs in one room. (worship)(worship)

I got REAL lucky with this one Bob. The seller couldn't take an image if his life was at stake, so I down loaded his image and made some ajustments, enough to see the coin, kinda, took a chance and bought it. Well here it is, not bad eh?

1936 Satin proof -67 pcgs secure + holder. Take a look at this holder! Would you want your beautiful proof in this ugly piece of ? I sent this coin back to pcgs per Don Willis for a re-holder because he agreed it was bad, so I did, and they put it in a worse one.....I'm done......
