Thanks for the kind words.
I've been collecting the early commemoratives now for about 6 mos. and I've accumulated about 50 of them so far with the majority of the coins being graded at MS65 or better. This has been a fun set to collect and I hope to finish it.... years down the road!

Great coins all!
I just picked up these two yesterday. I've wanted the Connecticut coin for quite some time now and I think I got one with a very nice strike and good luster. I also got quite a nice Wisconsin coin. The fields on the coin look quite clean and again the strike is awesome.
Here you go:

I've had a lot of issues with seeing images this week, so I'll just say, "NICE COINS EVERYONE!!!" Congrats on completing the set Stgecko!
Thanks on the congrats! I'm thinking I need to have some cheese cake in celebration.

Well since it was payday I ran to the coin shop and picked this little beauty up! It looks like the very epitome of uncirculated. I'm thinking MS65+, keep your fingers crossed for me when I eventually send it in. It could be a while so I don't know when I can give you all feedback on it but rest assured as always any batch I have graded I will eventually share with you all anyway.
I wish the lustre would've shown a bit better as it's just dripping with it.

Those presidential cameos are freaky frosted. If there is such a phrase.

Polished is rejected because you're losing actual material? (original material) Sounds logical to me. I've also decided to spend the extra money and step up the Oregon to MS65 after I return this one. I decided I can squeeze a little more money out of the old coffee can.
Thanks Tom!

For the price I paid it would not suprise me that it's been cleaned and/or tampered with and that's ok as I think it looks good in hand.

Sorry to disappoint but it's not another BTW.
It is my first example of an Oregon and being a Northwesterner I should've had this one a long time ago. Completing the set of Oregons is not a big priority at this time as I'm still working the BTW set.
Here's the 1926 I just got. Sorry the lighting looks off a bit. I'm not sure why it changed all of the sudden but I'll have to investigate.
Talk about your muscular cattle!

thanks bsshog40! I recently counted up my commems and I'm getting real close on completing the type set for early commemoratives. I need 10 more! Of course they're the expensive ones and with some of them being so high priced I might have to go with an AU or less when my original goal is MS65 or better. It's time to start saving up again. I'm thinking about a nice Antietam for Christmas to me! It's all a matter of will power at this point.
