Very nice Morgan prudden!

I just got my silver proof set in the mail today and all I can is, WOW! I've never seen a proof set where every coin just pops right out at you. When compared to my 2009 proof set (clad) they(the silver proof set) just stand out and are clearly the better coins. These are PF70's if ever I've seen one. The weird thing is I have no plans on getting them graded. I'm just going to keep them. =)

SteveInNebr I like your WaCarv commem! I'm working on finishing that set too. I have 7 to go w/ 5 MS65 and 2 MS66s in my set thus far.
Go baby go!

Here's a couple of new ones. The platinum coin is my first and I bought it due to the extremely low mintage. At this time the total mintage is <400 coins. Let's hope it holds out. The other coin is a Gold Buffalo (50$) unc and I got this based on low mintage numbers but they're no where near the platinum numbers.

Nice mustache on the Buffalo.

Nice Iowa Commem! That's one of the commem's that can easily be found in higher grades. It's my only MS-67 in my early commemorative set. It's a great design and a great coin. Enjoy!

Thanks Bobby! Rey, nice medal and even a nicer story.

Ok this was an upgrade purchase from MS65. A very inexpensive jump up to a great looking golden toned 1946S BTW. It's also the coin I have with the most toning now. I find I like the golden color which is more prevalent on the reverse.
Included is a pic of the entire BTW set w/ the following dates/grades.
All graded by either NGC or PCGS
1946 MS66,65,66
1947 MS65,65,65
1948 MS65,65,66
1949 MS66,66,66
1950 MS66,65,66
1951 MS65,65,65
Enjoy

Great looking coins all! You have inspired me to buy another coin.
PS My BTW, 18 coin set is now ranked as number 9! I broke into the top ten which is always nice if you're into the point system and such.

It's close to my board name but not quite it.

Forgot about this one. I upgraded my 46 BTW to a very sharp looking MS66 w/o much of an upgrade in price. Which is always nice. This upgrade put me into the top ten sets at NGC. I didn't think that would ever happen. I have one more upgrade coming and that should put me in 9th place and then no more.

Wow that is a thing of beauty! I want one but I'm going to wait for a bit. I've got the first four and have been dragging my feet on the others mostly because of price.

Ok I got a new one yesterday. I was a bit tentative about this coin as my first two 21's I bought had to be returned due to altered surface or have been cleaned. I hope the third time is the charm on this gosh darn pilgrim. Let me know what you think.
PS The black widow is a bonus pic. I found it while mowing the lawn today.

Those Frankies do look nice don't they.

Here's a coin I didn't think I could afford in this grade! It's an Illinois/Lincoln early commemorative 50 cent piece. I picked it up as an old fatboy from NGC graded as MS-65. The strike and the luster are sharp and it's just mind boggling to look at.
Definitely ranks as one of my favorites of all time, in my collection.

Wow love the Proof WLH! It sure is pretty.
