addition my MS66 Mercury dime set
Howdy friend,
Received this little gem in the mail today, it?s the latest addition to my MS66 WWII Liberty Head ?Mercury? Dime Set. I love these little coins and I?ve been putting a modest MS66 set together. I?ve been able to make off with one MS67 and two MS66FB examples and stayed under $28 on average paying a high of $39 and a low of $4. Most are toned to some degree like the 1945S I just received today that has some nice blue toning on Liberty?s head. A few examples have a slight purple haze that I like in any coin but especially in Mercury dimes. These dimes have such luster and with a little purple toning, what can I say, they just knock my socks off. I have just three slots left to fill, the 1942S, 1941D and the 1945 Micro S. Waiting to see if I win a 1941D in the next few days but the 1942S is proving a tough coin in MS66 at my price point and I expect to pay a premium for the Micro S when I can afford one. I must have an internal tick that locks me up when I start to think of paying $200 for a coin or it may be that I faintly hear my wife?s voice in the back of my head??. ?you what, for what!?
Sometimes she just doesn?t get it, so I line up all her shoes and she calms down alittle??
until next time, you all take care,
