I started out about 20 years ago on the cheap stuff, a penny bag here and a penny bag there...

I would scrounge up every bit of money I could find and hit the flea markets to find that next fantasy raw coin. I stayed an occassional "user" for about 18 years. Then the addiction hit full force - I found eBay. Just like the rest of us, I went straight for the hard stuff, for me anyway.

You see, I collect small cents, mainly Lincoln Proofs, but am now beginning to spread my wings into other areas. Now that I have found the Collector's Society and they make it oh so easy to join the competitive world of coin collecting, I am in deeper than ever. I have started buying the biggest bags my pocket book can afford at any given moment.

Oftentimes this gets me into a great dilemma. Why take just last night when I told my wife how much I'd spent on a 1989 NGC Lincoln PR70RDU a couple of days back, she about lost her mind and almost killed me! Seriously though, this "habit" is very addicting and NOT for the faint at heart.
