What is the best one worth? What will it be worth in 2 years?

Friends & Society, Well hello and I hope everyone has finally ate the last of their turkey. Over the last year I have paid a lot of attention on coin values. There has been a significant amount of new coin buyers added to our challenged purchasing that are causing havoc in the realised market of coin values. I would call them stock-coin buyers. They buy some coins at a good fair price, and sell when the value drops.Of course they sell for less than value thus driving the value even lower. With all the internet auctions you can find almost any coin and pretty much purchase it for around 80% value.

The problem with all this I see is the coins are valued on auction realized prices and before they were valued on dealer sales values. I think with the auctions selling off all the unwanted coins CHEAP the dealers don't have a chance to make a profit and the coins will not go up in value they will go down. Collecting coins started up good in the 1960s but I think it has met it's match (internet).

I would bet that some coins sold 3 times this year, each time for less money driving the value down. Now I am not talking about gold because the stock-coin buyers are still purchasing them. I can't wait to see how many gold coins hit the market when gold levels out for 4-6 months at around $1500 and then goes down $50. This will upset a lot of high spenders on their collections.

The facts are the more you spend (not save) on a coin in a auction, the more it will be worth and the more you save the less it is worth.

I guess I just wanted to put this out there, been thinking about it for a while.

HAPPY COIN COLLECTING & BEST WISHES through the hollidays
