Friends & Society, Previously I was going to sell some coins I knew I wanted to upgrade so I contacted Heritage and started a list. The values were around 12,000 and then I looked at bills that needed taken care of and things around here we need and the values went to 22,000. Not having a lot left in the set that was high grade I put the rest in the box yesterday, valued at 32,000 and went strait to the post office before I changed my mind.
I woke up this morning and wished I waited but the decision was final. I will start a new set next year but something that has quite less amount of coins. I still have my affordable coins that I may add to or just be rid of the full set. Trade Dollars and Peace Dollars would be so much easier than the Morgans so I'll figure that one out at a later date.
The auctions seem to be picking up very well and the coin values will start rising so I do hope the Orlando Show in January was my best choice. I wanted to upgrade this summer but the bids were very low and a lot of collectors lost a lot of value, at the auctions and in our sets. Good luck on that special Christmas coin you will start looking at in the next month or so.Here is one I kept.
HAPPY COIN COLLECTING
