Rick, I got a drowned sheep! "can ya help me"

Friends, I'm at work and I get a distress call from a friend. So of course I go and take care of the deed. It took a while to get him out of where he was, and a guy that was there said he was going to the store but all he had in his wallet was old money. I don't collect bills but I jumped like it was a coin. How much ya got?

I purchased $28 (old for new)strait up.

$2 bills= 2- 1976, 1- 1958, & a new 1928

$5 bills= 2- 1963 and a $10 bill= 1950

When I got to the house I gave the $2 bills to my son=16 years old and my daughter= 14 years old to put with what I already gave them in their collections.

My daughter was happy with her new 1976 $2 bill but I gave my son the 1958 and told him it was 60 years old, his eyes got as big as the headlights on my old chevy truck. It is fun to share with them what I can, most of the time we are on different wavelengths. When I send coins to auction I let them pick a coin they want, I would rather see them enjoy something I am into as they would me in their hobbies than sell it. It is so hard to get with my son sometimes I just give up, but I remember myself at the same age and wait for a good response from him. Anyway that is the end of my family SAGA and my new bills.
