First Coin to Bare the name of Iceland

Well found them $$$ WOW

When i started this Icelandic coin collection I read about two coins that bared the name of iceland on it ( Island,Islan ). And also read that these wore very rare coins. Being the optimist i am at that time i said to my self, i will find them some day and put them in my collection. Well low and behold I didbut not in my collection. What a shock it was to find them, Well these coins wore struck in Copenhagen. Denmark for the years 1771 and 1777. But are very pricey. NGC Graded these two coins for the Ira and Larry Goldberg ,Millenium Collection that will be auctioned off this April. Well if you want to see this coins go to thier web site and click on the Greenland coins not the Danmark coins why ! I dont know, I guess that is the way they listed Them .I will try to post a picture of one of this coins and if successful I will post the other coin in the next journal.
