RMW Collection of England and Great Britain 0 Entry posted by rmw · March 24, 2017 700 views a test I am told by NGC that multiple pics can now be uploaded to a journal. So I will give it a shot here. This is a 1926 Modified Effigy Penny, the rarer of two types made in that year. Well whatja know. It works! 0
THE WELSH DRAGON Posted March 24, 2017 RMW, I just saw your post (I guess it's called a post....this stuff is all new to me) you sent me about the reference material. I will look up those readings this evening. Thank you again! Link to comment
rmw Posted March 24, 2017 (edited) No problem. The Spink catalogue may have an appendix in the back of it which has a bibliography of other reference material. Examples would be the two volume work of JJ North on English hammered coins ,Freemans work on Bronze coins after 1860 and Marsh's two volumes on British Sovereigns and Half Sovereigns. There are websites and other places where some of these might be available, but the Peck book I mentioned earlier is pretty expensive. Edited March 26, 2017 by rmw Link to comment
