At long last I completed a date set of British Edward VII Pennies yesterday, although that piece (a 1907) has yet to be submitted for grading to NGC.

Here is an example of the scarcest item in the set, the 1902 Low Tide Penny.

Me likie!

I would never ask you where you get all your beautiful finds because that just doesn't seem proper.  But however you're doing it I know it isn't just ebay like me O.o

Keep sharing pics.  They're great!

No problem, King. I scour raw pieces from all over the place in the States and England. A lot of these pieces were purchased raw, like the Edward VII pennies (Ive set up a registry set for them, if you are interested).

A lot are already certified and most come from about ten or so leading auction houses in England Europe US and Australia. A few certified pieces but not many, come from dealers.

WOW!!!

That is cool!  That has to be so much fun looking though all those different places.  I don't think there will ever be a day when I can hang with that crowd. My wife already wants to kill me from just ebaying.

King of England for a user name seems kind of dumb now O.o

Lots of pieces can be bought inexpensively at auction, its maybe a matter of what you might get away with without getting killed:wink:.

But you might find some nice pieces for a lot less than ebay. I was looking at one today and although there are some that would be a lot more than my snack bracket, there are a bunch that are about L100.

And the British pound is low these days so its cheaper in $US.

This piece was sent in to NGC and came back as an MS 65 Red. So it came out well for me.

A POPULATION OF ONLY 2 WITH ONLY 1 HIGHER.........."WELL" MAY BE AN UNDER STATEMENT.  I WOULD PROBABLY BE RUNNING AROUND THE HOUSE SCREAMING "GOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLLL"!!!!

I don't do running right now.

But screaming can be done.

so I will take your advice.
