What a joy!

My almost eleven year old son also enjoys the hobby. When he was born I bought his birth year proof set and we have been working on completing his Dansco Lincoln Cent album for the last two years. I also collect mostly Lincoln's. However, my son has shown a keen interest in US silver coin, especially Kennedy and Franklin halves. When we go to coin shows he heads straight for them, coin album/list in hand. He is even to the point where he spends some of his on money on his collection. Needless to say, I always still kick in for a few coins myself to help him along. He has even enjoyed to excitement of the bidding on eBay on a few coins.

The more of our children we can get involved the more this wonderful hobby of ours will flourish and the more of our historical coins will be saved for future generations to enjoy!
