ICG vs NGC and PCGS

This morning I was watching HSN on cable TV. They were offering American Siver Eagles graded by ICG.

The offer was ICG graded 2007 American Silver Eages, MS-70, Fisrt Day of issue, about 15,000, for $100.00 each!

I was thinking the U.S. Mint must be doing an excellent job of minting. Then I got to thinking, ICG grading standards must not be as tight as NGC and PCGS. I don't think they have ever graded 15,000 MS-70 Silver Eagles in a year let alone the first day!

This offered has just reaffirmed by decision to stay with NGC for my coin collecting, with PCGS for certain coins.
