Update on 2007 coins in 2006 Registry.
Is it someone's infinite wisdom or is there more to this? After I complained about the 2007 Australia Lunar Silver dollar being addded to its registry definition only a week prior to awards deadline, I note that the coin has been made non-competitive, but still has a positive point value that impacts registry rankings.
After my previous complaint that the 2007 Australia Lunar coin was added to the registry definition just a week prior to the 2006 Registry Awards deadline. The registry Gods responded to my request by making that coin non-competitive. However the problem remains because even the non-competitive coin has a positive score value of 1. Even one point makes the owner of the non-competitve coin have higher ranking in the registry. Which makes the non-competitive coin quite competitive. Once more, I have requested NGC registry support and Collectors Society to address the problem that remains. I will keep you updated on the final outcome.
