The NGC Registry Set for Australia Lunar Silver Dollars already includes the 2007 coin, just a few days before the deadline before registry awards. This at a time when many other registries don't even have the 2006 coins, despite requests from yours truly. Boy, do I smell a conspiracy?

The NGC Registry Set for Australia Lunar Silver Dollars already includes the 2007 coin, just a few days before the deadline before registry awards (Dec 10). I, along with some others, have all MS70 coins in this set until 2006, and we were joint #1 place holders only until a couple of days ago. The 2007 Pig coins just came out a month ago. Only a few coins were graded and suddenly, they are a part of the registry, knocking everyone, but one, off the top spot. Boy, do I smell a rat here.

About a month ago, I had sent notes to NGC to update the registry definitions for Canadian Maple Leaf silver dollars, Flower Series silver halves and Butterfly series silver halves with the 2006 coins. No action followed. The Butterfly series, for instance, is 3 coins behind (1 from 2005 and 2 from 2006).

And now I see that Australia Lunar series has 2007 coins making a certain individual surpass in rankings to those that are only up-to-date with the 2006 coin. Is this certain individual significantly more influential (with NGC) than the rest of us? This STINKS. I have written to NGC regarding this. If no action follows, I am out of this registry. And if you are common folk like me, maybe you should be forewarned.
