great deal
Please check out my post in the money market place. Giving up coin collecting with a sad heart but I have other interests to pursue and I can no longer give my collection the time it needs.
Trying to sell as a group at this time I will NOT entertain offers on single coins
Thanks for your time W M Fielding

Thank you Alison
I spoke with Alison Emery yesterday about there not being a slot for the Burnished Eagle coins for the past couple years. After she spoke to the powers that be there are now slots for the Burnished American Silver Eagle coins going back to 2013.
Thank you Alison as always your there to help the collectors the best way you can.....Mike

lost my shirt on this one
Well Hello Fellow collectors, I jumped in with both feet with my first try auctioning my coins at a highly recommended site. And had to buy some of my own coins to keep from giving them away. lesson learned, I'll now try and sell my coins in the money market place at least there I can decline an offer and make a counter offer. I now have 2 topic lines of coins for sale in the money market place. but that's not the reason for this post I suggest that you search the auc

30 coin tryout
I sent in my first 30 coin consignment to GreatCollections on Monday. They say it will be in week after next auction I'll let you all know when they are for sale and the lot numbers. It would be great if my Fellow Collectors here at NGC could support me with this sale as it is the test to see if I use them again. And I am in desperate need of the cash this sale would bring to my coffers.
Thank you, Happy Collecting And may God Bless...Mike

Greatcollections has anyone here used them?
Hello Fellow collectors, And a very happy 4th of July....
I have many doubles and coins with no place in my collection. so I find myself needing to sell these coins at the highest possible price. I was thinking of sending them off to greatcollections on consignment as I don't have the time to type the list of coins I have for sale and post them here.
My main question is has anyone here ever used this company to sell or buy coins? any comme
fairly good results with this submission
The day after I received my 2014 proof set I sent it in to NGC for grading on 2 submission forms. I used my 5 coin free early bird coupon for the Penny thru dollar coins. And sent the quarters and pres. dollar coins on the other. I received the results yesterday on the quarter and dollar coins. as far as the quarters I received 4 out of 5 PF 70 UC with the Great sand dunes getting a grade of PF 69 UC. the Dollar coins did not do so well. With the Frankl
My first submission to ncs.
Well it had to happen sometime and last week seemed to be the right coin and time. I have a 1962 D franklin half dollar that had a cloudy look to it all over the coin. As it was I believe it could have gotten a ms-61 or maybe 62. with a nice cleaning it might hit a score of MS 65 or higher. which makes it a thousand dollar coin if I get lucky.
Does anyone out there know what causes a silver coin to get that white cloudy look to it is there anything I can do to pr

Hello Fellow Collectors, Happy New Year...
What a bunker year 2013 was for the Fielding mini hoard. thanks to the 21st century special, I was able to have well over 800 coins and medals graded. And for the most part, They came back with what I was expecting. I was a little disappointed with my 2013 mint set. I thought I had a few MS 69 and 70's in that set and the highest graded was some MS68's. But oh well such is life.
I said in my teaser that I had to b
S mint mark on mint set quarters?
Hello Follow collectors, And a very Happy New Year to you all.
I just finished putting my coins into my 2013 mint set and was very surprised to find that there were slots for ATB quarters with an S mint mark. Did they make a S mint mark 2013 ATB Quarter mint set? If so anyone know where I might find the set?

hello Fellow Collectors I have a lot of details slabbed coins, I want to take to my dealer for the silver content. But I don't want to give him the coins slabbed. As he will sell them as slabbed coins and only pay me for the silver. So is there anyone out there who knows how to open the slabs without having sharp plastic shards flying all over the house? Thank you NGC at times you make me the happiest coin collector on earth....
I had let my email sit for a few days last week. (All I get is spam from coin dealers) Then I found an email from NGC news of the week I think they call it. And within this Email I found something I've dreamed about for 2 years now... A special on 21st century US coins $10.00 each with a min of 10 per submission. Holy Cow what a deal for this under funded collector. I have already sent in my 2008 mint set a total of 18
where is the quality control
Hello Fellow collectors,
I have been receiving slabs back from NGC with light gray spots in the white field around the coin it's normally in the lower right side of the slab. is anyone else receiving slabs with this defect? I will contact NGC this afternoon and will post a photo tomorrow. I sure hope NGC will correct this problem and keep the same cert number on the coin. one can only hope.

Its been an up and down year but it's looking up
Greeting fellow collectors,
Today I met a goal I've been striving for a couple years now. I surpassed the 200000 registry points today with a 1981 mint set. This puts me in the 408th spot in the registry. Now with the coins I have left out to have graded this year I should be able to break into the 300rds by the first of fall.
Well I hope every one is in great health and enjoying the last few weeks of summer I know I am.
happy collect
SMS VS MINT SETS
Hello my fellow collectors,
I need you help please. From 2007 thru 2010 the US Mint made SMS mint sets along with regular mint sets. I can not tell the difference between the 2 there is nothing on the sets telling you if it's SMS or a regular mint set. so how is one to tell the difference. Thank you in advance for your help.
Happy Collecting and my God Bless....Mike

went up the 50 registry spots I lost last week
Well It seems NGC fixed the glitch that had registry points going wild over the week end. I know we have these glitches from time to time but there still the number one grading service in the world. I hope you all think they are also.
on another note I totally agree with GSA Gem Quest an obscure set SHOULD NOT BE CONCIDERED FOR ANY TYPE AWARD ITS NOT FAIR TO THE MASSES THAT SHOW THERE SETS PROULDY I think it may be time for someone with bette
