Lost Money!
I have been collecting coins for over 10 years now... Started with Eagles and have now moved into the Morgans. My skills have improved over the years but I have still yet to master the different types of cleaned coins. There are not many resources out there with pictures that show you exactly how to determine each type. After a solid 8 years collecting Morgan's I am still falling prey to these detials graded coins. Morgan Addition MS66
My first MS66 1879 Morgan, added this one threw E-bay.... and very happy with this high grade addition to my set. This was after my MS65* graded 1879 S added two weeks ago. I have learned that not all coins are as beautiful as others regardless of grades. The more you study Morgans the more you come to appreciate and learn the beauty of each strike and sheen. 2011 has been a nice collecting period for my collection. Looking back I pleased with my additions of eagles and Morgan's. I have collected 17 very nice raw Morgan's this year and just mailed them off to NGC for grading. This year I spent hours looking threw raw gems, detailing every one collectively, my collective thoughts are of what my finds bring me and test my judgement of graded returns.
