PCGS graded coins

Unbelievable decision of NGC it's amazing the decision of NGC to throw out all PCGS graded coins from their world registry set. were is the respect that NGC should have for all these collector's including myself regarding this decision. It's understandable that after Jan. 31 , 2012 , NGC won't accept in their registry PCGS graded coins , but after all the work and financial investment that we the collectors have made to make a set a #1 or #2 and suddenly the set will go to a very low position

a year later

on jan 22 -2009 i posted a journal regarding the bet that myself (fernando Baez) and mr. Isaac Rudman did. We as avid collectors at the end of year 2009 ended Mr Rudman in place 25 in the overall place I ended in place 32. Now this coin adrenaline has really hit us hard. Mr. Rudman is in position #8 with 1,016,947 points , holding 1,015 certified coins. not bad for 16 months. I'm in position # 10 overall with 994,344 points and holding 1,923 coins ( #4th place as owner with most certified coin

Competition between two anonymous dominican collectors

It all started as a joke, lets start including our coins in the NGC Census. Myself and Mr. Rudman, old numismatics friends, but have been in the shadow for the past 30 years did a bet, of a dinner, which collection of ours by December 31, 2009 was going to be closer to #1. Although most of our coins , NGC does not have the countries still as registered sets , we are really proud that Mr. rudman ended in #25 and myself (fernnado Baez) in #32, not bad for two rookies. This really help us out to
