Re Burned on Ebay

Get it checked I would say depending on the value I would ask NGC to give it a look. It very well could be switched because none of the ones I have received have those cloudy spots.

Re: To Icelandman

Nice to Know. It is nice to know there is someone else from Iceland on this site. I was born in Iceland and have a few coins myself although they are not as old as yours.

Going Postal

Part Two Just thought I'd tell the community what I've possibly lost forever through the USPS. 2008 W $50 Gold Buffalo, 2007 $25 and $10 Gold Eagles, 2000 P A.E. Proof, all four of the Australian Koalas, 2005 Kookaburra and my Jamestown $5 Gold Commemorative as well as a PF69 Jeffersons' Liberty I mailed to an Ebay Member. That's right two seperate packages via registered mail with insurance are lost. BEWARE.

Going Postal

Incompetant It seems as if the Post Office has at least misplaced if not lost my coins. It really makes me wonder why prices to ship items continue to increase when they can't seem to get the delivery right or on time. I'll trust a carrier pigeon before I send another box via U.S.P.S. I guess it's time to research FEDEX. Hope everyone is having better luck than I spinning the will it get there or not wheel.

Re: Quandry of Quandries and Woo Hoo!

I say leave them in. Although I'd have to say I'm not an expert but I believe if you remove them from their case NGC might not grade them as a set! Good Luck! Finally the wait has ended and three out of five coins I submitted in my first shipment are 70's including the 2007 Buffalo, 2009 Platinum Eagle and the 2009 Double Eagle High Relief. The other two coins got a 69 which include the 2009 Buffalo and Jefferson's Presidential Spouse Coin. The spouse coin will be up for sale on Ebay soon unde

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE!?

Absolutely Peaved!!! I want to know how it's humanly possible that HSN is now selling 2010 MS 70 first day of issue from ANACS Silver Eagles when they aren't being sold to the public. Anyone with this answer besides money talks please let me know.

Oh the wait!

Waiting to see the grade. Having submitted coins for my first time I've never thought that it could be so nerve racking to wait for the time to come. The Heinz ketchup " anticipation, making me wait" commercial comes to mind. In some ways it is exciting to finally be in the world of collecting. I've been collecting for some time but have never bothered with getting the coins graded or even compared how they may stack up with others out there. I can't wait to find out. David

Grading

Everything has fees Like Amarillo I'm now experiencing the grading fees. I've collected a bunch of coins and have some complete sets but now it's time to pay the piper to get them graded and see if they stack up to some of the rest I've seen in the registry.
