Golden Dollar, Made for testing in the UK using Martha dies
Martha Washington Golden dollar test piece. Given to me by a friend who knew someone who worked for a uk company that made coin operated machines some years ago.
I understand that the test pieces were made to test the durability of different alloys when used in coin operated machines.
This must be similar to the one that turned up in someones change in the US I guess.
