The story of the gold coin was interesting, however, the auction stuff seemed odd to me considering it was supposed to be unclaimed property with the majority of what I saw, being recent medallions/medals. With the reserve set way to high. Thanks for the info though.

Did you look at the end of the list? Quite a bit of gold coins. Old and New..

 

I do not consider 2500 dollars reserve too high for 5 1 oz krugerands, gold being around 650 an ounce.....

 

I also see No buyers premium, so what you bid is what you pay.....
