Presidential Proof Coins Not Being Graded 70

NGC grades Proof Presidential Dollars PF70 when they meet our criteria for this grade, i.e. no post-production imperfections at 5x magnification. Many of these coins coming directly from the Mint do exhibit planchet flaws, struck-throughs, marks, and staining. For this reason many are precluded from graded PF70, although we have Proof Presidential Dollars at the PF70 level.

 

The NGC Census will include Proof Presidential Dollars beginning Monday, July 16, 2007.
