Yet another UK error coin found

yet another strange uk error . anyone got any idea how this could of happend ?

I don't even know what the coin should look like. Is that a big cud on the front of that thing??

It's a Blob, or maybe some type of tumor.

Totaly normal

"Totally normal" tells me that is probably isn't an error. A cud that large should have caused a weak area on the other side. I would suspect that it has had some metal from a welder or solder dripped onto it.

Well, it depends if the "blob" is raised or incused. If raised and the reverse is totally normal, it probably is something added to the coin. If incused, it could be a strike through.

From the way the light highlights the "thing" I would say it is raised. The coin is lit from the lower left and the "Thing" is also lit on that side. If it were incuse I would expect the right side to be lit.
