I have recieved a hand full of forign coins from my mother who got them from my great aunt when she passed a few years ago.

This would be my first real Penny.

I know nothing about grading forign coins so if you are so inclined as to render any assistance I would be most appreciative.

I also will be posting some German coinage as well.

Thanks Guys.

Oh yes I will be submitting some of them for my daughter as a rememberance.

Hi Mauimall,

Yes you indeed have your first true penny!

My Krause lists 11.7 million of business strikes of those guys made and values them at $1.75, $6.00, $20.00 and $55.00 in Fine, VF, XF and Unc, respectively.

Not much detail survives on you coin so calling it a "Good" is likely generous. As you can imply from the steep descent in prices with wear your's isn't worth much, maye fifty cents or a buck.

Looking forward to the German coins, it gets quite lonely here on NGC's World Coin Forum!
