My VAM book only speaks of rough surfaces caused by rusted dies. If looked at under extreme magnification it would appear to be covered by raised dots. No VAM # exists that mybook nor software lists. Sorry.

Don't be sorry...I looked at all the online refrences and only found a pitted obverse die.. Maybe I should send it to Leroy and see if it would be a new discovery.. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

 

As you can see ,All the eagle and wreath are covered..
