Betts Medals Edge Marks

2 posts in this topic

For Betts medals that can be slabbed by NGC, do you make any notation on the insert as to any edge mark that might be present, for example on ones that have been restruck by the Paris mint (say, either noting 'Plain Edge' if there is no mark or giving the name of the mark, such as 'Cornucopia')? Thanks.

We provide the Betts variety number at no additional charge. Depending on the diameter and thickness of the medal we will provide standard encapsulation, the large holder or a color photo certificate. We include as much information as possible on the label but have a limited amount of space. We will note edge markings, diameter and metal as standard practice, but will also include weight if we have space on the label.
