Sold - Japanese Invasion Notes

1 post in this topic

Here is a set of 9 Japanese Invasion Notes. The set consists of 1 cent through $1000.00 notes. Their actual use was for Malaya apparently but there is a myth, which this set and envelope perpetuates that they were to be used after a "planned invasion of the United States." I am not certain of the entire history nor truth behind the notes, but this is what I have been able to find out throught the forums. It is suspected that many of the $100 and $1000 notes may have been counterfitted for these sets, but with this set I honestly do not know. I just thought I would pass on to someone who has an interest in these. A similar set sold on Heritage in 2004 for $14.00 and it had a note suspecting the $100 and $1000 notes of being copies.

Here are Pictures of the notes and the original envelope they came in.

If interested, please make an offer and PM me.

Thanks,

Rey
