1919 Walking Liberty Half Dollar

Would this be a coin be a good candidate for conservation. Some PVC and looks like something my of been stuck on the Reverse. I would like to cross this over to get graded by NGC. If it doesn't cross over I would like it sent back raw. Thanks.

I would agree that this coin is a good candidate for conservation. The chances are good we would be able to help with the residue on the reverse. I would have to see the coin in person to determine for certain, but your coin does look to be a good candidate.

 

I would not be able to comment on the gradeability of your coin without seeing it. There is an option on the NCS Submission form to have your coin graded after conservation exactly as you describe. In section 6, you would want to mark the second option on the current NCS Submission Forms.
