1797 cc Trade dollar ???

Hi, long time no see... wink.gif

I was asked about a 1797 trade dollar...

I looked it up at the book, but from ther description it look like the trade dollar from 1873-1885 with the seated holding the leafs. so i figure is counterfeit.

 

but as i am ignorant for trade dollar, I ask for second opinion...

US Trade Dollars were minted from 1873 to 1878 in business strikes. They were minted in 1879-1885 in proofs only.
