I just bought United States Gold Counterfeit Detection Guide, by Bill Fizas.

 

 

Does anyone else here have this book? I ordered it from the ANA, its total cost was 26 dollars. (6.95 for shipping).

 

When you order from the ANA, do they give you a tracking number once its shipped? I haven't gotten one yet.

 

I have the PCGS Guide to grading and counterfeit detection, which has helped me in learning some counterfeit characteristics such as spark eroison counterfeits (which are made in a electro bath) , struck counterfeits, and cast counterfeits.

 

Will this book help me in spotting counterfeits easier? What else would I need to have to spot gold coin counterfeits better?

I have the book, I won it in a contest here. I haven't had much of a chance to use it though, because I don't have any gold!
