We have been fortunate enough to acquire just a few of these fantastic sets. In 2006 the U.S. Mint made, for the first time ever, a reverse proof version of the American Gold Eagle. This set contains one American Eagle Gold Proof Coin, one American Eagle Gold Uncirculated Coin and one American Eagle Gold Reverse Proof Coin. All three coins have the “W” (WestPoint) mint mark and are dated 2006. Each set has been graded MS69/PF69/PF69 Ultra Cameo by NGC, one of the premier grading services in the market place. The coins come with the famous blue label denoting their pedigree as part of the 20th Anniversary edition.

 

The reverse coin was available from the mint ONLY IN THIS SET.
