Silica Gel?

I am wondering if I am using enough Silica Gel. I am currently using 2 Hydrosorbent Silica Gel 40 Gram Dehumidifying Units in a 4x2x2 Tupperware Container and 1 Hydrosorbent Silica Gel 40 Gram Dehumidifying Unit in another 4x2x2 container. The type of gel I am using is like this one being offered on Ebay Ebay page . They seem to turn pink within a month. Do I need to use more or do I need to purchase something different? Or is placing them in the oven once a month the norm? Any thoughts appreciated.

How big is the space that the desiccant is in? You may need a larger packet if the space is outside their size range. Or move to Arizona.

I use Sta-Dri Sta-Dri I use an 8 oz pack per 5 Gal volume. I also put one of these in each of my vehicles and the musty smell went away. I recharged it recently after 8 months use just in case.
